Chongqing-based investors seeking UK education partners
Tuesday, 27 December 2016The representatives of a government-backed cultural industry investment group visited my office today, they are seeking opportunities in education sector by creating joint venture with UK partners who have expertise in managing/ operating kindergartens, primary and secondary schools.
According to their information, the education facilities are already for use at 3 premises in Chongqing, they expect to identify and negotiate with potential British education partners in early 2017 and introduce their branding/ courses/ training to SW China by the end of 2017. UK schools are their 1st priority although some Canadian counterparts have arranged their visit to Chongqing in Jan 2017.
The state-owned capital will be injected to the joint venture in the form of financial investment, another big chain-kindergarten will be the main shareholder of the joint venture. The CBBC will publish the above export opportunity as well as another 2 similar requests through the EO system later on. UK companies are welcome to register their interests.
