First Freight Train from China to London

I used to be the main express. All steam and whistles heading west.Early today my London colleague shared the news with me:

'China freight train' in first trip to Barking
It says that the train will take about two weeks to cover the 12,000 mile journey from China to London, and is carrying a cargo of clothes, bags and other household items.
I shared the BBC report to WeChat Moments, and I can see that the Chinese Weekly in London has reported the news in Chinese, based on the BBC report:

During the daytime, within 5 hours I've received about 5 enquiries from local contacts, asking about details of the railway route from China to London. Chongqing has a railway route called Yu-Xin-Ou(Europe), it used to be successful for carrying laptops made in Chongqing to the European market (Duisburg for Chongqing, same way as Lodz, Poland for Chengdu) but facing the downturn pressure recently. It's no doubt that people in this game are imagining the new potential of extending their logistics links to the UK.
