Wednesday, 1 February 2017H.E. Ambassador Liu Xiaoming made his remarks at the APPCG Chinese New Year Reception in Palace of Westminster on 31 January 2017. In his speech the Ambassador said amid the political and economic uncertainties the UK once again demonstrates the strong "resilience" of the British people, and China-UK relationship is also showing "resilience". He also listed four directions that the UK and China could work together to advance the "Golden Era" of China-UK relations:
